Description
Mosby Creek was named for the pioneer David Mosby. David Mosby settled in 1853 and staked claim to 1,600 acres east of the present day city of Cottage Grove. Another interesting item near this area is The Mosby Creek Bridge, it is Lane Countys oldest covered bridge. It was built in 1920 at a cost of $4,125 by Mr. Mosby. I love the fall here in Oregon everything is so colorful! In this photo it looks like the water is on fire, that is the white grasses growing up through the rocks on the creek. Enjoy
